We are a small team of certified tandem pilots based in Chania, Crete, with over a decade of experience in professional paragliding.

Since 2012, we have safely guided hundreds of visitors through their first flying experience — many of whom arrived feeling unsure and left with a smile they couldn’t hide.

Flying is what we do every day.
Safety is never optional.

We choose our takeoff locations carefully, fly only in suitable weather conditions, and use professional-grade equipment to ensure a smooth and controlled experience.

For us, paragliding is not about extremes.

I’ve been flying professionally in Crete since 2012, guiding hundreds of first-time passengers safely into the sky. As a certified tandem pilot and instructor, I’m responsible for evaluating conditions, equipment, and safety standards before every single flight. Over the years, I’ve represented Greece in national and international paragliding competitions, earning multiple podium finishes — an experience that strengthened my precision, discipline, and decision-making in the air. Every flight begins with calm preparation and clear guidance. My goal is simple: to make your first steps into the sky feel controlled, safe, and effortless. Most guests arrive with a little hesitation. Almost all of them land with a smile.

Giorgos Konios

Certified Tandem Pilot & Instructor
With extensive experience in tandem flying and pilot instruction, Giorgos shares the same commitment to safety, precision, and calm professionalism that defines every Explore Paragliding flight. As an instructor, he is trained to assess conditions carefully, communicate clearly, and guide passengers step by step — ensuring smooth takeoffs, stable flights, and confident landings. Whether flying independently or alongside our lead pilot, he operates under the same strict safety standards and weather-based decision-making that our guests trust.
